Lemon juice has been used for many years to treat acne, fade blemishes, and control oily skin. Lemon contains antioxidants, which protects the skin from free radical damage and helps speed up cell regeneration. Lemon contains many nutrients that are beneficial to the skin. Vitamin C boosts collagen production aiding in elasticity, and CITRIC ACID tightens pores, brightens dull skin, fades dark spots, scars and blemishes, slows fine lines and fights wrinkles, and that’s just a few of the nutrients found in a lemon! There is also Lutein, and Potassium which heal and soothes dry skin. A simple toner made of fresh lemon juice mixed with water can tighten large pores and minimize oily skin. But if you want to amp it up a notch then make an ANTI-Aging Lemon Mask with Turmeric and Green Tea. (This recipe can be found at http://healthmunsta.hubpages.com/hub/Lemon-Face-M...

Green tea is full of antioxidants and phytochemicals that fight wrinkles. Lemon combined with powerful green tea, will banish fine lines and prevent premature aging. Throw in the healing and anti-inflammatory properties of TURMERIC, and you have one heck of a powerful punch to reverse the hands of time.

Ingredients:

2 Table Spoons green tea

a pinch of turmeric

1/2 teaspoon lemon juice

Directions
Combine the above ingredients into a small bowl and mix well. Using a clean cotton ball, pat the lemon face mask onto your clean face, tackling all areas. Wait for 3 minutes for it to dry up. When the mask is dry, use another cotton ball to pat the mixture again over the thin dry mask. Repeat the procedure until all of the face mask mixture is done. Coating your face with more than one layer simply softens and nourishes your face and lets the mask sink penetrate deeper into your pores.

Let the final coat of the face mask settle for 10 minutes. When the time is up, wash off with cool water. Pat dry.
